I’m Here (Harvest Moon)

I’m here,
I’m here,
Little late, oh my dear,
Jesus, my Friend, oh draw near.

I think I got so caught in having a garden
That I forgot the cost of Your heavenly pardon,
Ran off when weeds were encroaching on my cordone,
Didn’t recognize it when the devil killed Tarzan.

Now I’m just sitting here, lonely in fright,
The harvest moon was blacked out tonight,
And I’m just shaking before You, I’m quite
Despaired that the harvest moon was blacked out last night.

Where’s the crop?
Somebody call the cops!
Ohhh, I think I need a mop,
Because I spilled blood in my chalk.

Now I’m just sitting here, lonely in fright,
The harvest moon was blacked out tonight,
And I so wanna kneel before You, Your might,
Can’t compare it to the dark harvest moon tonight.

I guess that’s the problem,
See, I’m never stopping,
This long road is my outcome,
Blinders on, I’m just surviving.

I just kept on hoping.
I just kept on hoping.

Why am I moping?
